Last year I have collected Hachettes Stormbringer Magazine for Age Of Sigmar for a while and I did enjoy it even though I cancelled it at some point. Now ive decided to do the subscription again with the Combat Patrol Magazine

Why the Drukhari?

A few months ago I finished the Aeldari Combat Patrol that already motivated to do more space elves. Around black friday my FLGS had a ridiculous good offer on the Realspace Raider Battleforce so I got it along with the Codex and Lady Malys (which will be her own post)

So I recently finished the Cthonian Prospect Battleforce for the Votann and wanted to show off my finished miniatures.

This year’s Tau Battleforce arrives today, so I was pushing to get the one from last year done before the new one takes up a cozy place on my pile of shame.

I am happy to report, I finished just in time.

Since I am preparing for a 2.000 match with my Votann against World Eaters I still need to paint some more Votann, todays project was a second Memnyr Strategist and another 2 Squads of Ironkin Steeljacks, unlike last time, I built the Steeljacks as the melee version.

I’ve reached a big milestone in my Warhammer 40,000 journey — 2,000 points of Adepta Sororitas fully painted!
When 10th edition launched with the Leviathan box, I started the hobby, and since then I’ve somehow managed to collect nine different armies.
The Sisters of Battle are the first to reach a full 2,000 points, while the rest sit somewhere between 750 and 1,250 points.

Why the Aeldari?

The Aeldari always seemed interesting to me because they had a more “clean” look compared to most other 40k factions however I am not really a fan of “oldhammer” models so until the aspect warriors got their refresh earlier this year I was not super interested in their miniatures.

Well with that release wave that changed, especially the new warp spider models really worked for me
