Why the Hedonites of Slaanesh?

In all my history with Warhammer I never bothered too much with Slaanesh, the models just never clicked for me. I still dislike the models of the Daemonettes and their chariots and when I got into painting Warhammer with 40K’s 10th Edition again I didn’t even bother to look at their model range.

However when the Emperors Children released for 40K I found myself enjoying these models quite a lot so I took the plunge and roughly a year later I am craving for more… excess if you will, and decided to just try to paint the Hedonites Spearhead for Age of Sigmar as I really enjoyed the look of the mortals, so here we are.

Adepta Sororitas – 2000 Points Painted Army Showcase

I’ve reached a big milestone in my Warhammer 40,000 journey — 2,000 points of Adepta Sororitas fully painted!
When 10th edition launched with the Leviathan box, I started the hobby, and since then I’ve somehow managed to collect nine different armies.
The Sisters of Battle are the first to reach a full 2,000 points, while the rest sit somewhere between 750 and 1,250 points.

Vespid Stingwings Painted

Why the Vespids?

Back in 4th edition I collected Tau, and while many are drawn to the battle suits, I always found the auxiliary forces more interesting. Back then I only had a couple of Kroot though. So when I came back to 40K 2 Years ago and restarted the tau force it was clear that I wanted to lean in more heavily into the other Alien races of the Tau empire. Luckily Games Workshop redid the Vespids last year as Kill Team so here we are.
